Christian Contardo has a diverse range of work experience in the legal field. Christian started their career at The World Bank as a Legal Intern in both the Africa Region Office and the Afghanistan Reconstruction Trust Fund. Christian then worked as a Law Clerk in the National Security Section of the United States Attorneys' Offices.

Contardo then joined White & Case LLP as an Attorney, specializing in International Arbitration. Christian later transitioned to the public sector, working with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as an Associate Legal Advisor and later as Deputy Chief/Acting Chief in the National Security Law division of U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement. In this role, they provided legal advice, training, and litigation support related to national security cases.

Contardo further expanded their expertise by joining the U.S. Department of Justice as an Attorney Advisor in the National Security Division's Office of Intelligence. Christian handled various aspects of intelligence operations and provided oversight in national security activities, particularly regarding the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.
