Marita Makinen

Marita Makinen serves as the Chair of the M&A Group at Lowenstein Sandler LLP since April 2011, bringing extensive expertise in mergers and acquisitions to the firm. Prior to this role, Marita worked at Weil Gotshal and Manges from September 1993 to April 2011, where the professional held positions as Partner and Associate. Marita earned a Juris Doctor degree from Columbia Law School between 1990 and 1993 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Michigan State University, obtained from 1985 to 1989.
