Kelley Watson

Kelley Watson has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Kelley started their career as a Business Office Manager and Coder at ORCHARD EYE CENTER PC from January 2000 to August 2011. Kelley then worked at Mindsprings Health as a Coder/Auditor from January 2013 to November 2014. Kelley joined Western Healthcare Alliance as a Coder biller in November 2014 and worked until November 2015. Following this, they worked at Vista Vision Family Eye Care as an Office Manager/Billing Manager/Coder from June 2012 to May 2019. Currently, Kelley is the Director of Patient Financial Services at a private company, a position they started in November 2015.

Kelley Watson's education history begins with their high school diploma, which they obtained from Palisade High School in 1989. Afterward, they pursued an associate's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Colorado Mesa University, attending from 2011 to 2014. In 2020, Kelley enrolled at Capella University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Management in Healthcare. They then continued their education in 2021 at Weber State University to earn the HAS HIM Certification.

In terms of additional certifications, Kelley obtained the Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) certification from AHIMA International in November 2021. They also obtained the Certified Professional Coder certification from AAPC in March 2003.
