Michael Munday

Michael Munday is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in software development and systems engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering and Principal Software Engineer at lowRISC CIC since December 2020, Michael previously held the role of Senior Software Engineer at IBM, focusing on the Linux on z Open Source Ecosystem from June 2017 to December 2020. Earlier experience includes positions at IBM Canada Software Lab as a Staff Software Developer, Maxeler Technologies as Compilers Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer, and a brief role as a Resource Author/Proof Reader at ZigZag Education. Michael began the professional journey as an Industrial Placement Student at GSK and provided technical support as ResNet Helpdesk Staff at the University of Bristol. Michael holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Engineering Design from the University of Bristol.
