Mick Ryan

Mick Ryan, AM is an Adjunct Professor at The University of Queensland and a Non Resident Fellow at Lowy Institute. Mick is also the Principal at Mick Ryan Solutions Pty Ltd and an Adjunct Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Mick Ryan is a Member of the Military Writers Guild and has held various leadership roles within the Australian Defence Force, including Commander of the Australian Army's 1st Brigade and Director General Strategic Plans. Mick holds a Master's Degree in International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and has completed various other educational programs related to military studies and leadership.
