Anna M Szpurka

Anna M Szpurka (Jankowska) has a diverse work experience in clinical biomarker development and diagnostics development. Anna M currently holds the position of Senior Director- Clinical Biomarker Development at Loxo Oncology at Lilly since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Fellow Clinical Diagnostics Development from September 2021 to October 2022 and as a Senior Principal Clinical Research Scientist - Diagnostics Development from March 2020 to September 2021, both at Loxo Oncology at Lilly.

Before joining Loxo Oncology at Lilly, Anna worked at Eli Lilly and Company, where they held the role of Principal Clinical Research Scientist- Oncology Tailoring/ImmunoOncology Biomarkers from October 2019 to March 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Clinical Research Scientist - Global Strategy/Oncology Tailoring/Immuno-Oncology Biomarkers from October 2015 to September 2019 and as a Clinical Research Scientist from February 2013 to October 2015.

Anna's earlier work experience includes serving as a PostDoctoral Research Fellow at Indiana University Bloomington from March 2012 to February 2013, a Research Fellow and Research Scholar at Cleveland Clinic from November 2004 to November 2011, and a Graduate Student at the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences from 2002 to 2004.

Anna M Szpurka (Jankowska) holds a PhD in Medical Biology from the Medical University of Warsaw - MUW. Anna M also has a Master's degree in Biotechnology and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, both from the Uniwersytet im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu.
