Cortney Chertova

Cortney Chertova, PhD has a diverse work experience in medical writing. Cortney started their career as a Junior Medical Writer at Delta Pharma in 2010. Later, they worked as a Medical Writing Program Manager at Astellas Pharma from 2011 to 2012. Following that, they joined Randstad USA and held different roles, including Senior Medical Writer/Project Manager and Senior Document Manager on assignment for Astellas Pharma, from 2012 to 2017. During this time, they also worked as a Senior Medical Writing Consultant on assignment for AbbVie - Regulatory Strategic Writing at Pharma Start from February 2017 to October 2017. From 2017 to 2020, they worked at AbbVie as a Principal Medical Writer and then as a Senior Manager in Regulatory Strategic Writing. Currently, they are associated with Loxo Oncology at Lilly, where they have held positions such as Director, Senior Director, and currently, Associate Vice President in Medical Writing since October 2020.

Cortney Chertova, PhD, holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Washington and a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
