Ipsita Roy

Associate Vice President, Discovery Program Management & Operations at Loxo Oncology

Ipsita Roy has a diverse work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. Ipsita started their career as a Research Assistant at Stanford University in 2001. Ipsita then worked at Millipore as a Research Associate II, where they completed various hybridoma research projects and trained senior technical staff. From 2007 to 2008, Ipsita worked at Aragen Biosciences as a Project Coordinator/Senior Research Associate, leading projects on hemophilia therapeutic drug candidate screening and mammalian expression platforms. Ipsita also trained and mentored junior employees during this time. Ipsita continued their tenure at Aragen Biosciences as an Associate Project Manager from 2009 to 2011, managing R&D projects and contributing to the growth of project revenues. In 2011, they became a Project Manager at Aragen Biosciences, where they spearheaded numerous biologics R&D projects and played a key role in increasing contract revenues. Ipsita then joined Lineage Cell Therapeutics in 2017 as a Senior Program/Project Manager, overseeing various programs and projects. In 2019, they joined Miltenyi Biotec as a Project Manager, responsible for managing projects within the company. Ipsita's most recent role is with Loxo Oncology at Lilly, where they have held several positions including Associate Vice President of Discovery Program Management & Operations and Director of Discovery Program Management/Chief of Staff - Discovery Leadership Team. Their work experience highlights their expertise in project and program management, as well as their ability to drive revenue growth and develop strong client relationships.

Ipsita Roy has a Master's degree in Molecular Biology from San Jose State University, which they obtained from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Biotechnology from Visva-Bharati between 1997 and 1999. Ipsita also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from Visva-Bharati, achieved from 1994 to 1997. In 2015, they obtained a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
