James Pauff

Associate Vice President, Clinical Development at Loxo Oncology

James Pauff has a diverse work experience in the field of oncology. James is currently working at Loxo Oncology at Lilly as an Associate Vice President in Clinical Development, where they have been since January 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of Medical Director at the same company since January 2021.

Additionally, James has held positions as a Medical Advisor at MetaMed Research, Inc. from 2013 to 2015, as a Board of Directors member at the American Physician Scientists Association from 2008 to 2011, and as a Graduate Fellow at The Ohio State University from 2004 to 2011. James was a member of the Board of Advisors at AAAS from 2008 to 2009.

James Pauff earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Zoology from Miami University in 2004. James then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biochemistry from The Ohio State University, which they completed in 2008. Following that, James obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from The Ohio State University in 2011. James has also obtained additional certifications in Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2016 and 2015 respectively.
