Alberto Montero

VP of Sales USA, LATAM at Loyal Guru

Alberto Montero has over 25 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry. Alberto began their career in 1994 as an Junior Financial Advisor/Lawyer at Banco Mercantil, where they were responsible for providing legal counsel and support in the banking, corporate, financial, labor and fiscal committee. In 2000, they joined Banco del Caribe/ Bank of Nova Scotia as Gerente de Planificacion y Gestion, where they generated and implemented the strategic plan, action steps, and goal outcomes for the bank operations. Alberto then moved to Stanford Group Company in 2004 as Regional Director and Financial Advisor, where they managed the regional office and staff, providing integrated financial advisory services to individuals, companies, and family groups. In 2012, they joined Marketeam Options. S.L. as General Manager, where they headed the foundation and consolidation of the operations in Latin America. In 2016, they joined tcc global as Sales Director, where they increased market penetration and drive brand awareness in Central and South America/Caribbean region. In 2020, they were promoted to Vice President of Sales at tcc global, where they had experience in retail and petrol business, loyalty systems and schemes, marketing programs implementation and measurement, cause-related programs launch and implementation, and use of licenses for marketing programs. In 2022, they joined Loyal Guru as VP of Sales USA, LATAM.

Alberto Montero obtained an Executive Master of Business Administration from Hult International Business School in 1996-1997, with a focus in Business Administration. Prior to that, they obtained an Abogado degree from UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello between 1987 and 1993, with a focus in Derecho.
