Luca Tateo

Luca Tateo has held a variety of roles in the food and retail industry since 1996. Luca began their career as an Assistant to the General Director at Meridiana, followed by a Product Manager role at COPESCO & SEFRISA S.A. In 2002, they were appointed Director of the I+D and Marketing Department at LA SIRENA, where they were responsible for product marketing, innovation, and corporate image. Luca then moved to Bidfood Iberia - Guzmán Gastronomía as Director of Marketing and I+D, and was responsible for managing relationships and collaborations with renowned chefs and restaurant groups. In 2008, they were appointed Director of the Business Unit Martin Berasategui Gastronomía at Grupo Cadarso. In 2012, they co-founded Genuinus and held the roles of Co-CEO and President. From 2017 to 2021, Luca Tateo held multiple roles at EsdeMercado.com, Grup Ametller Origen, and Janis. Most recently, they were appointed VP Sales Grocery EU at Loyal Guru.

Luca Tateo received their Laurea in Economia e Commercio from the Dipartimento di management at the Università La Sapienza di Roma between 1992 and 1996. Luca then went on to obtain an MSc in Marketing Management from Esade in 2002 and 2003. Finally, they completed a Postgrado en Retail Marketing from Esade in 2004 and 2005.
