Luis Martins has over seven years of experience in software engineering. Luis began their career in 2013 as a Design Engineer at Frazier Industrial Company, where they were responsible for project design, engineering, and implementation of automated material handling systems. In 2016, they became a Software Engineer at re# studio, where they worked on a variety of web applications utilizing the MEAN stack. Later that same year, they began working at The Corcoran Group as a Software Engineer, where they drove the development of numerous web applications utilizing frameworks such as React, Angular 2, and AngularJS. In 2018, they joined Greystone Labs as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked alongside a small team to develop an intuitive multifamily valuation app and led the restructuring of the engineering team's development process. In 2019, they began working at Loyalsnap as a Lead Software Engineer and at Bond Health as a Lead Software Engineer.

Luis Martins attended Newark Academy from 2004 to 2008. Luis then went on to receive a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Civil Engineering from the University of Connecticut from 2008 to 2012. In 2013, they obtained an EIT certification from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES). In 2015, they attended Fullstack Academy.
