Matthew Tomlinson

Matthew Tomlinson is an experienced professional in the field of color science and imaging, currently serving as a Lecturer at Loyola Marymount University since August 2022, where the focus is on educating students about modern color workflows and color grading in the Motion Picture Industry. Matthew has held significant roles such as Head of Color Science at Harbor Picture Company since September 2018, and previously served as SVP of Imaging Science at SHED from December 2015 to September 2018. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Imaging Science at EFILM from August 2007 to November 2015, and various positions in imaging and digital supervision roles at Tippett Studio, Pacific Ocean Post, and BOSS Films. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film Production from Loyola Marymount University, earned between 1991 and 1995.
