Cheryl Nazal

Cheryl Nazal serves as the Regional Manager of Nursing Development Programs at Loyola Medicine since February 2021, where significant achievements include the redesign and implementation of a new graduate nurse residency program and successful multi-site PTAP accreditation efforts. Previously, Cheryl held various positions at Advocate Aurora Health from June 2006 to February 2021, including Interim Manager of Inpatient Dialysis and Nurse Manager of a 32-bed Intermediate Care Unit, overseeing substantial teams and enhancing clinical education and financial performance. Earlier in the career, Cheryl worked as a Clinical Specialist and Charge Nurse at Alexian Brothers Medical Center Inc., contributing to improved patient care and safety initiatives. Cheryl holds a Master of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Illinois Chicago.
