Joy Gordon serves as the Ignacio Ellacuria, SJ. Chair in Social Ethics at Loyola University-Chicago since January 2015. Previously, Joy held the position of Professor in the Philosophy Department at Fairfield University from September 1997 to December 2014. Joy holds multiple degrees from Yale University, including an MA, M.Phil, and PhD in Philosophy, and earned a Juris Doctor (JD) from Boston University School of Law.
