Katrina Binaku

Katrina Binaku, PhD, serves as an Advanced Lecturer and Lab Coordinator in the Department of Chemistry at Loyola University Chicago since August 2013, where responsibilities include teaching General Chemistry and Quantitative Analytical Chemistry courses. Prior to this role, Katrina held positions as a Lecturer and Teaching Assistant in the same department from 2008 to 2013. Achievements include the Chemistry Teaching Assistant of the Year award in 2011 and contributions to lab course development and graduate student organizations. Earlier experience as a Laboratory Technician at Seeler Industries involved ISO 9000 training and proficiency in various wet chemistry techniques. Katrina earned a PhD in Analytical/Environmental Chemistry from Loyola University Chicago and a BS in Chemistry and Criminal Justice from Lewis University.
