Peter Schraeder

Dean, College of Arts & Sciences at Loyola University Chicago

Peter Schraeder is the current Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences at Loyola University Chicago. Peter has also served as the Elected Chair of the Faculty Council and the Faculty Affairs University Policy Committee at Loyola University Chicago. From August 2005 to December 2005, they served as the Acting Program Director of the Global and International Studies Program at Loyola University Chicago. From May 2004 to May 2019, they served as a Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Law and Political and Social Sciences at the University of Carthage in Tunis, Tunisia.

Peter Schraeder has a Ph.D. in International Studies from the University of South Carolina, a Diplome in French Civilization and Culture from the Université Paris-Sorbonne, and a B.A. in International Studies & French from Bradley University. Peter also has a Certificate in French Language and Culture from the Institut catholique de Paris.

They work with Thomas M. Kelly - SVP, Administrative Services, Susan M. Malisch - VP, Chief Information Officer, and Jeremy Langford - VP, University Marketing and Communications. Peter Schraeder reports to Jo Ann Rooney, President.
