Uriel Quesada serves as the Vice Provost for Institutional Research, Accreditation, and Academic Engagement and Interim Dean of Arts and Sciences at Loyola University New Orleans since August 2014, with a track record of managing academic programs, faculty oversight, and curriculum development. Previously, Quesada held the position of Associate Dean in the College of Arts and Sciences, focusing on student academic progress and program implementation. Quesada participated as a Fellow in the American Council on Education's program from 2012 to June 2013, enhancing leadership skills through experiences at various institutions. Early academic experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor at McDaniel College from 2006 to 2009. Quesada holds a Ph.D. in Latin American Literature from Tulane University and a Licentiate degree in Statistics from the Universidad de Costa Rica.
