Joseph Smedley

Joseph Smedley has extensive experience in logistics and operations management, currently serving as Head of Container and Coal Terminal operations at Lyttelton Port Company since October 2003. Smedley previously held the roles of Acting Container Terminal Manager and Logistics/Operations Manager within the same company. Prior to this, Smedley worked at Nestle NZ from October 1995 to October 2003 in various management positions focused on logistics, production, and major project work. Smedley's career began at Regina Confections, where from February 1982 to October 1995, a range of responsibilities included production planning and supervision, culminating in a diverse background in operations before the Nestle acquisition of Regina.
