Jay Harper is an experienced legal professional with a focus on legal operations and eDiscovery in the financial services sector. Currently serving as SVP, Associate General Counsel, and Head of Legal Operations at LPL Financial since October 2018, Jay Harper has held various roles including Vice President & Associate Counsel and AVP & Associate Counsel. Prior to LPL Financial, Jay Harper worked at Moore & Van Allen PLLC as Discovery & Investigative Counsel, specializing in complex e-discovery challenges related to internal investigations and large-scale financial litigation. Jay Harper holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Charleston School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Human Resources from the University of South Carolina.
