Shayne O'Brien

Shayne O'Brien is an experienced Programme Manager with over two decades in project management across various sectors, including defense, telecommunications, and manufacturing. Currently serving as a Contract Programme Manager at the New Zealand Defence Force since May 2015, Shayne has also held significant roles such as Senior IT Project Manager for Air New Zealand and Vector, as well as Programme Manager positions at HP Enterprise Services and Electronic Data Systems, focusing on IS infrastructure projects for Telecom NZ. Early in the career, Shayne managed projects for Coca-Cola Enterprises Europe and capital projects for Carter Holt Harvey Packaging Ltd. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Auckland.
