Jesse Blumberg is an experienced educator currently serving as an Associate Teacher at LREI since August 2022, following a similar role at The Spence School from August 2020 to August 2022, and as an Assistant Teacher at PS 9 Sarah Anderson School in the 2019-2020 academic year. In addition to teaching, Jesse has worked as an Afterschool Instructor at Re-Create Arts & Athletics Inc. and completed an internship at the University of Michigan's Policing and Social Justice Lab, where research focused on police and racial violence in Detroit during the civil rights era. Jesse's foundational experience includes a summer internship at City School of the Arts and a summer camp counselor position at Raquette Lake Camps. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Elementary Education from Bank Street College of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Michigan, complemented by a minor in Community Action and Social Change and a certificate in Poverty Solutions.
