Darin Mehrings has extensive work experience in the construction and engineering industry. Darin started their career as a Draftsman and Junior Engineer at Klein and Hoffman in 1983, where they worked part-time during high school. In 1994, they joined Structure Evaluation Engineers as a Project Engineer before transitioning to Quality Restorations in 1995, where they worked as a Construction Foreman until 2000. Since 2000, Darin has been with LS Contracting Group, Inc., initially serving as a Project Manager and currently holding the position of Senior Project Manager/Vice President.
Darin Mehrings completed their education in a structured manner. Darin pursued a Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago, which they obtained from 1989 to 1993. Prior to that, they earned an Associates in Applied Science degree in General Studies from Wright College, attending from 1986 to 1989. Darin's academic journey began at Lane Technical High School, where they focused on Drafting and successfully completed their high school education from 1981 to 1985.

LS Contracting Group was established to provide full-service General Contracting for property managers, building owners, general contractors, management companies, developers, local municipalities, and private companies. We are a union signatory contractor and maintain a City of Chicago masonry and concrete license. Tom Laird and a former business partner formed LS Contracting Group, in March of 1999.
