Raymond Soto Jr.

Mr. Soto joined LS Power in 2010 and serves as Chief Technology Officer, directing the Firm’s Information Technology and Information Security (IS&T) efforts. Mr. Soto has over 20 years of experience in the IS&T field and previously worked at US Power Generating Company, where he led the technology group and directed the Critical Infrastructure Protection and Cyber Security program in accordance with NERC standards. Mr. Soto holds a number of professional certifications and accreditations in technology and information security, including CNSS 4011 recognition from the National Security Agency and the Committee on National Security Systems. Additionally, Mr. Soto is a member of InfraGard, a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the private sector for the protection of U.S. Critical Infrastructure, and the Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Advisory Board.

Mr. Soto received a B.S. in Informatics Summa Cum Laude from the University at Albany.
