Shimon Edelstein

Mr. Edelstein is responsible for overseeing the tax planning and tax reporting functions across the firm and its various lines of business. Mr. Edelstein joined LS Power in 2011. Prior to joining LS Power, Mr. Edelstein worked from 2007 to 2011 as a tax attorney at Fortress Investment Group where he was promoted to Managing Director in 2009. From 2002 to 2007, he was a tax associate at the law firm of Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York. Mr. Edelstein began his legal career as a federal law clerk to Judge Edward R. Korman of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.

Mr. Edelstein received a B.S. in Mathematics, Summa Cum Laude, from Touro College and a J.D., summa cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School, where he was on the editorial staff of the Brooklyn Law Review.
