Sigurður Ari Sigurjónsson

Sigurður Ari Sigurjónsson has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Sigurður Ari started their career as an Assistant Quality Manager at VKS from 2001 to 2006. Sigurður Ari then worked as a Quality Manager at both HugurAx and Landsteinar Strengur from 2007 to 2009. Following that, they joined Advania as an IT Manager from 2009 to 2013. Since then, they have worked at LS Retail, where they held various positions, including Microsoft Program Manager from 2013 to 2019, Bid Manager from 2017 to 2019, Business Development Coordinator from 2019 to 2021, Strategic Account Manager from 2021 to 2023, and currently serves as the Director of Business Development and Vice President of Strategic Accounts & Business Development. These roles involve driving business development efforts, managing bid processes, and overseeing strategic accounts and software development opportunities.

Sigurður Ari Sigurjónsson holds a BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from Háskóli Íslands, which they obtained from 2001 to 2004. Sigurður Ari also has an MSc in Industrial Engineering (Quality Technology and Management) from Chalmers University of Technology, completed from 2005 to 2007. Additionally, they have earned certifications in LS Nav Base Training, Six Sigma - Black Belt, and IPMA.
