Sue Handy

Sue Handy has extensive experience in the field of procurement and contracting. Sue began their career as a Contracting Officer at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in 1982 before moving on to various positions within the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). At the FAA, Sue held the roles of Contracting Officer, Acquisition & Contracts Manager, and Director of Acquisition and Contracts. Sue was responsible for overseeing significant air traffic control system acquisitions and managing a division that obligated over $1 billion per year. In 2013, Sue joined LS Technologies, LLC as the Vice President, where they oversee program management, acquisition management, business/finance services, engineering/technical, and information technology services.

Sue Handy attended the University of Baltimore from 1977 to 1987, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. In 2013, they attended the Federal Executive Institute for Executive Leadership Training. Sue also obtained certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2014.
