Anthony Shiver has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and roles. Anthony has been working at the Law School Admission Council since 2015, starting as a Test Specialist and gradually moving up to the positions of Test Developer, Coordinator of Online Testing, Senior Test Developer, and finally, Director of Online Testing. In November 2021, they became a Senior Academic Program Manager at the same company.
In addition to their work at the Law School Admission Council, Anthony also served as a Philosophy Instructor at the University of South Alabama starting in January 2021.
Prior to that, they worked as an Instructor at the Center for Talented Youth (Johns Hopkins University) from July 2011 to August 2015, and as a Fellow at the University of Georgia Graduate School from August 2014 to May 2015.
Anthony also gained experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Georgia from August 2010 to July 2014, and at Western Michigan University from August 2008 to April 2010.
Anthony Shiver has a strong education background in philosophy, as well as computer science. Anthony first attended the University of South Alabama from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy. Anthony then pursued further studies and attended Western Michigan University from 2008 to 2010, obtaining their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Philosophy. Continuing their educational journey, Shiver attended The University of Georgia from 2010 to 2015, where they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Philosophy. Lastly, in 2018, Shiver enrolled at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they pursued and completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science, which they finished in 2021.
