Michael C. Beck

Michael C. Beck is the Senior Vice President of Operations at LSI Industries. Prior to their current position, Beck was the Regional VP at Simpler Consulting, an IBM Company, and the VP of Continuous Improvement at Harrah's Entertainment.

At Simpler Consulting, Beck was responsible for a team of 20+ consultants delivering transformational Lean consulting services to healthcare, commercial, aerospace, and government sectors. Their role included providing executive coaching, guidance for transformation planning, and consulting in strategy deployment for clients, as well as coaching for their team.

At Harrah's Entertainment, Beck oversaw the deployment of Lean Manufacturing methods to the entire HET operational footprint. Michael created an extended continuous improvement team addressing all operations at 34 domestic resort operations, including hotel, food & beverage, buffet, cleaning, valet, laundry, customer service, and casino operations, as well as corporate activities like IT, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Aviation. The team applied the core Toyota Production System methods, as well as advanced variable labor management practices.

Michael C. Beck has a M.S. in Applied Statistics from Oakland University, a M.M. in Operations, Strategy, Finance from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, and a B.S.M.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University. Michael transferred to Michigan State University from Wittenberg University, where they studied Physics.
