Jill Flygare

Jill Flygare has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Jill is currently serving as the SVP Economic Development and Social Impact at LSI since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at the Utah Inland Port Authority, where they held the positions of Deputy Executive Director from September 2021 to February 2023 and Chief Operating Officer from October 2019 to October 2022. At the Utah Governor's Office of Economic Development, Jill was the Managing Director, Internal Operations from February 2016 to October 2019. Jill also worked as the Finance Director at the Department of Heritage and Arts from February 2014 to February 2016. Before joining government organizations, they served as a Budget Analyst at the State of Utah from July 2010 to February 2014. Jill also has experience in education, having worked as an Instructor at the University of Utah from June 2004 to July 2009 and as a Teacher at the Granite School District from July 1994 to June 2004.

Jill Flygare obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Science - Secondary Education from the University of Utah from 1990 to 1994. Jill then pursued a Master's degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Utah from 2002 to 2004. Later, they completed a Master of Public Administration degree in Political Science at the University of Utah from 2008 to 2010. In April 2019, Jill Flygare obtained the Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) certification from the Association of Government Accountants (AGA).
