Abdulkadir Dalha

Postdoctoral Research Fellow at LSU AgCenter

AbdulKadir Dalha is a specialized professional in agricultural biology with substantial experience in academia and research. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at LSU AgCenter since March 2024, AbdulKadir previously held the position of Lecturer I at Samaru College of Agriculture, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, from January 2022 to March 2024. Other notable roles include Crop Protection Officer at Katsina State Agricultural and Rural Development Authority (KTARDA) and a trainee at ICRISAT, both in 2014. AbdulKadir’s earlier experiences include serving as a Corps Member at the Institute for Agricultural Research Samaru and internships with the National Programme Coordinating Office, IFAD-CBARDP, and the Crop Protection Department, A.B.U Zaria. Educationally, AbdulKadir earned a PhD in Agricultural Biology from Chungbuk National University and holds both a Master’s Degree in Plant Pathology and a Bachelor of Agriculture in Plant Pathology/Phytopathology from Ahmadu Bello University.
