Andy Ponce de Leon

Andy Ponce de Leon has a diverse work experience in the field of higher education and athletics. Andy started as a Volunteer Assistant Coach at California State University, Long Beach, where they coordinated outreach efforts and developed teaching and business skills. Andy then worked as an Assistant Coach and Adjunct Faculty at Mt. San Antonio College, where they assisted in hosting a large cross country event and significantly increased the track and field team's enrollment. Andy continued their coaching career as an Assistant Coach & Adjunct Faculty at Butler University, where they served as the Event Director for the Big East Conference Cross Country Championships and facilitated legislative changes in conjunction with the USTFCCCA. Andy then worked as a Graduate Assistant at Arizona State University, where they directed a major track event and ensured the safety and well-being of participants through risk management plans.
