Joshua Winston

Joshua Winston has a strong background in IT and cloud engineering. Joshua has experience working as an IT Technologist at rewardStyle, where they focused on automation and deployment pipeline for continuous deployment. Prior to that, they worked at GameStop as an Analytics and Cloud Engineering specialist, designing and deploying applications in AWS with a focus on high availability and fault tolerance. Joshua also has experience as an IT Manager at Cognizant Technology Solutions, where they automated software installation and configuration using Ansible. Joshua began their career as a Senior Oracle DBA at Sundaram Infotech Solutions Limited and then worked as an Oracle DBA at GTL Limited, where they installed and configured databases and implemented high availability solutions.

Joshua Winston completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering from Mepco Schlenk Engineering College from 2000 to 2004. Joshua later pursued a Master's degree in Business Analytics from Southern Methodist University, which they completed from 2018 to 2020. In addition to their formal education, Joshua has obtained several certifications, including the Google Analytics Certification from Google in December 2018 and April 2019, the Information Technology Infrastructure Library V3 certification from IT Service Management in March 2012, and various Oracle certifications in database administration from 2005 to 2007.
