Angela Alvarez is an experienced pharmacy leader with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Houston and a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Chemistry from The University of Texas at San Antonio. As the Director of Pharmacy at LTS since April 2021, Alvarez has demonstrated strong leadership skills, building on previous roles as Director of Pharmacy Operations at Medcillary and Director of Pharmacy at TotalAncillary. With a robust background in clinical pharmacy, including a role as a Clinical MTM Pharmacist at Aspen RxHealth, Alvarez has a proven track record in managing pharmacy operations, developing standard operating procedures, and enhancing patient care outcomes. Prior experiences also include significant contributions in pharmacy management roles at Medpharma and Target, where Alvarez excelled in sales revenue growth, inventory management, and team development, ultimately leading to high employee retention and customer satisfaction rates.
