David W. Allen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. David W. started their career in the United States Marine Corps, serving as a Logistics Specialist and earning a Combat Action Ribbon for their service in Operation Desert Shield/Storm. After their military service, they joined Stanley Associates as a Consultant, providing support for the USMC suite of logistical applications.

Following that, David joined Booz Allen Hamilton, where they held various roles. As the MHS DHA Configuration Manager, they designed and implemented complex workflows to automate change and delivery management functions. David W. also supported the USMC Recruiting Command and worked on a joint forces data exchange prototype.

Later, they joined Planned Systems International, where they served as a Project Delivery Manager for the Coding Compliance Editor and as a Senior Configuration Manager for SDD PMO Code Maintenance. David W. also served as a Quality Assurance Manager for a DoD application and as a Senior Configuration Manager for VA OI&T Testing Service.

Currently, David is working at LTS as a Senior Principal Consultant. In their current role, they are responsible for managing projects related to the Veteran Affairs First Databank Upgrade and the upgrade of two patient scheduling systems for the VA.

Throughout their career, David has demonstrated strong project management skills and expertise in various software tools such as Microsoft SharePoint, Serena Business Manager, Rational "Jazz" Suite, and SAFe. David W. has a proven track record of delivering high-quality results and providing support to different government agencies.

David W. Allen earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology from Strayer University, which they attended from 1994 to 1998. In addition to their formal education, David has obtained several certifications. David W. is a Notary Public for the State of Florida, having received their commission in January 2019. David is also a Certified Scrum Professional, certified by the Scrum Alliance in April 2016. Finally, they hold the SAFe® Government Practitioner (SGP) certification from Scaled Agile, Inc., although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification is not provided.
