Shaun Fogerson

Shaun Fogerson has been with Lubbock Fire Rescue since 1992, working their way up from firefighter to Deputy Chief of Operations. In October 2015, they were promoted to Fire Chief. Fogerson began their career with the Lubbock Fire Department in September 1992 as a firefighter. Shaun was promoted to Captain in August 2008 and served in that role until February 2012. As Captain, they were in charge of 7 fire stations and 48 personnel. Shaun was also responsible for mitigating major emergencies and hazardous materials.

In February 2012, Fogerson was promoted to Fire Suppression Battalion Chief/Medical Coordinator/Physical Fitness Coordinator. In this role, they supervised 7 fire stations with 48 assigned personnel. Shaun was also responsible for policy development and fire service instruction.

In October 2015, Fogerson was promoted to Fire Chief. In this role, they are responsible for the overall management of the department, including the suppression, training, and medical sections. Shaun also manages 388 personnel.

Shaun Fogerson received a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Texas Tech University.
