Sebastian Schmidt

Sebastian Schmidt has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Sebastian started their career as a Marketing Manager at Newcon Consulting GmbH from August 2016 to October 2021. In this role, Sebastian designed and executed digital marketing strategies, managed social media accounts, and led account management efforts.

Following that, Sebastian joined Addisco Education GmbH as the Chief Executive Officer in August 2017. During their tenure, they led product and business development initiatives, secured funding for the startup, and demonstrated strong leadership and problem-solving skills until October 2021.

In 2021, Sebastian co-founded Metagates and served as a Co-Founder. Sebastian played a significant role in creating and selling out an NFT collection on the Solana blockchain, designed the UI for a game using Unreal Engine 5, and demonstrated strong skills in project planning and execution until August 2022.

Sebastian then worked as a Web Developer at webvise from August 2016 onwards. In this role, they offered expertise in the concept, design, and development of modern web interfaces, provided UI/UX design and branding services, and crafted digital strategies to drive traffic and engagement.

Currently, Sebastian is working as a Junior Software Engineer at luca, starting from August 2022. Their responsibilities include conceptualizing and implementing single-page and web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients to design and deliver new features, documenting and testing code for quality and reliability.

Sebastian Schmidt attended HMKW University of Applied Sciences for Media, Communication and Management from 2013 to 2017. Sebastian obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design and Visual Communication. Additionally, Sebastian has completed several certifications, including "React - The Complete Guide (incl. Hooks, React Router, Redux)" from Udemy in July 2022, "The Complete 2022 Web Developer Bootcamp" from Udemy in June 2022, "The Complete JavaScript Course 2022" from Udemy in May 2022, and "Solana Blockchain Developer Bootcamp with Rust + JavaScript" from Udemy in April 2022.
