Wouter Devriese

Wouter Devriese is a researcher at LUCA School of Arts since February 2022, focusing on the intersection of creativity and technology through the Polymath lab, which connects research, education, and industry in art, immersive experiences, and artificial intelligence. Devriese also serves as the coordinator for LUCA Traject3D, a course exploring 3D technologies and visual design aesthetics in collaboration with Thomas De Brabanter. Prior to this, Devriese worked as an application prototyping engineer and hardware engineer at imec, as well as a collaborator at KU Leuven MICAS. Additional experience includes teaching and IT management at Vrije Handelsschool Sint-Joris and a project engineer role at Televic AV. Devriese holds a Master’s Degree in Teacher Education from Ghent University and a master's degree in industrial engineering electronics from Katholieke Hogeschool 'Sint-Lieven'.
