Jay Lucas

Jay Lucas is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in corporate strategy and investment. As the Managing Partner at LB Equity since December 2018, Jay focuses on partnering with and investing in emerging purpose-driven brands in the beauty, wellness, and personal care sectors, aiming to drive growth and create positive social impact. In addition, Jay has served as President of The Lucas Group since July 1991, a consulting boutique specializing in the needs of private equity investors and corporate clients, with a team comprised largely of former Bain professionals. Prior to these roles, Jay was a Partner at Bain & Company in the Boston office from May 1981 to January 1990. Jay's academic credentials include a J.D./M.B.A. from Harvard Law and Business Schools, strategic studies at the University of Oxford as a Marshall Scholar, and a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University.
