Germonique Ulmer currently serves as Managing Director of Social Impact and Managing Director of External Affairs at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, contributing to the organization's vision established by founders George Lucas and Mellody Hobson. Prior experience includes roles as Vice President of Public Affairs at the National Trust for Historic Preservation, where Germonique was a senior advisor for brand and communications, as well as Senior Director of Public Affairs and Director of Media Relations at the Center for Community Change. Germonique began a career in public service as Deputy Press Secretary in the Executive Office of the Mayor of Washington, DC, providing media support to the city's Chief Executive. Germonique holds a Master's degree in Journalism and Public Affairs from American University and a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism and Film from the University of Georgia, complemented by leadership training from the American Express Leadership Academy.
