Mitch Kamin serves as the General Counsel, Chief Strategy Officer, and Corporate Secretary at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art since August 2023, contributing to legal and governance matters and leading strategic initiatives. Prior to this role, Mitch was a Partner and Co-Chair of the Commercial Litigation Practice Group at Covington & Burling LLP from September 2015 to August 2023, where efforts focused on media, entertainment, sports, and technology litigation. From October 2010 to September 2015, Mitch served as Co-Managing Partner at Bird, Marella, Boxer, Wolpert, Nessim, Drooks & Lincenberg, overseeing the firm's operations and representing clients in complex litigation. As President/CEO of Bet Tzedek Legal Services from April 2003 to October 2010, Mitch led initiatives for a non-profit law firm serving low-income communities in Los Angeles. Earlier experience includes partnership at O’Neill, Lysaght & Sun, and serving as Supervising Attorney at the Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem, among other roles. Mitch Kamin holds a JD from Harvard Law School and a BS from the University of California, Berkeley.
