Sandra Jackson-Dumont currently serves as the Director and CEO of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, a position held since January 2020. Prior to this role, Jackson-Dumont was the Frederick P. and Sandra P. Rose Chairman of Education at The Metropolitan Museum of Art from June 2014 to February 2023. Additionally, experience includes serving as Deputy Director for Education and Public Programs/Adjunct Curator at the Seattle Art Museum from July 2006 to February 2023, and holding adjunct faculty positions at New York University and the Rhode Island School of Design. Earlier roles include Director of Education and Public Programs at The Studio Museum in Harlem and Head of School, Family and Intergenerational Programs at the Whitney Museum of American Art. Education includes a Master of Arts in Art History from Howard University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Sonoma State University.
