Christopher Balog

Christopher Balog is an experienced professional in the visual effects industry, currently serving as an Associate Visual Effects Supervisor at Lucasfilm since November 2021. Previously, Christopher held various roles at Industrial Light & Magic, including Virtual Production Supervisor, where oversight included managing a Virtual Production Stage for two years and supervising over 100 shot days, as well as serving as Compositing Supervisor and Layout Onset Supervisor. Christopher's early career at Industrial Light & Magic also featured a role as Lead Compositor/Comp Supervisor, focusing on compositing digital images and supporting fellow compositors. Prior experience includes a position as a Resource Assistant at Industrial Light & Magic and serving as a Safety & Security Officer at Pixar Animation Studios. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Arizona State University.
