John Harper

John Harper is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in creative production and live events. At Lucasfilm since January 2014, John has played a pivotal role as Director of Creative Production, where the focus has been on building the StarWars.com video team to enhance the Star Wars brand and significantly boost YouTube subscriptions. Prior experience includes various production roles at World Wrestling Entertainment, where John led a team to create live and pre-taped segments, managed the production of content for multiple platforms, and adapted to high-pressure live show environments. Additionally, John has a background in training material production and distance learning at Total Training and Rensselaer Satellite and Video Productions. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Media, Arts, and Communication from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is pursuing further education at the University of Pittsburgh.
