Pieter Dumon is a co-founder and CTO of Luceda Photonics, with extensive experience in managing software products, process design kits (PDK), and service delivery since June 2014. Prior to this role, Pieter served as R&D Project Leader at Imec - Ghent University, overseeing projects related to the EU FP7 ESSenTIAL initiative and developing PDKs for silicon photonics. Earlier positions included post-doctoral research coordination and PhD research focused on silicon photonic integrated circuits. Pieter holds a PhD in electronics engineering from Ghent University and has completed executive education at Vlerick Business School.
