Brian Goldstein

Brian Goldstein is a Clinical Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. He has twenty-five years of experience as a physician-executive, with a consistent focus on innovations that enhance health care for patients and consumers and improve physicians’ practice. Brian served as a Chief Operating Officer at Seattle-based University of Washington Medicine from 2016 to 2018. He served as UNC Hospitals’ Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 2010 to 2016. Prior to that appointment, he served for eight years as UNC Hospitals’ Chief of Staff and as the UNC School of Medicine’s Executive Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs. Brian received his medical degree from NYU School of Medicine.
