Soukie also earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from Northern State University, which they completed between 1995 and 1998. Furthermore, they acquired a Certificate in Women's Studies from North Carolina State University during the period of 1997 to 1998. In addition to their academic achievements, they are also certified as a SHRM-SCP by SHRM.
