Sten Verpalen

Sten Verpalen is an experienced air traffic management professional currently serving as Team Manager for FIC/FMP at LVNL since February 2007, leading a team of 32 to enhance safety and competence in air traffic operations. Sten has held various roles at LVNL, including FISO and Flow Controller, Operational Expert in Safety Performance, and Initial Training Instructor, demonstrating a commitment to training and safety within the industry. In addition to responsibilities at LVNL, Sten is the Chairperson of IFATCA's Committee C and represents the Nederlandse Luchtverkeersleiders Gilde in international forums. Sten also founded Computer Butler, offering IT services, and has a solid academic background with multiple degrees in Business Administration from University of Amsterdam and Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, among others.
