Kshitij Kumbar

Kshitij Kumbar is a Senior Software Engineer at Lucid Motors since October 2020, focusing on data-driven behavior planning algorithms for highway scenarios, and has developed a recurrent network-based multi-task classification and regression model. Prior to this, Kshitij worked at Auro as a Motion Prediction/Behavior Planning Engineer, where longitudinal vehicle dynamics models were designed and developed, achieving a 97% model fit accuracy. Previous experiences include a Vehicle Integration and Testing Internship at Samsung Electronics America, a Teaching Assistant position at Ahmedabad University, and a Project Internship at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Kshitij holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University (2018-2020) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ahmedabad University (2014-2018).
