Varun Tailor

Varun Tailor is a seasoned mechanical design engineer with extensive experience in the automotive industry. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for Body Structures at Lucid Motors since September 2020, Varun previously held key roles at Karma Automotive as a Senior Design Release Engineer and Design Release Engineer, focusing on product development for the Karma Revero and other models. Varun's earlier roles include a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Southern California, where research centered on optimization processes for aircraft design, and positions as a Manufacturing Engineer at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd and a Project Intern at Air India Limited. Varun holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
